Have you ever tumbled out of bed, stumbled into the kitchen and poured yourself a cup of ambition? We know Dolly Parton has. And as it turns out, so has our very own Christina Fournier.

Christina is a serious powerhouse for Brafton as she carries her role as Director of Customer Experience with pride. She can truly showcase her detail-oriented side while exemplifying her ability to show empathy, compassion and understanding for everyone she works with both internally and externally.

But, when she’s not on the clock, who is Christina? As it turns out, she’s a little bit country.

Yawn and Stretch and Try To Come to Life

Before she was the queen of all things customer analytics, she was a country line dancer for a team called the Kactus Kickers. Now, we’re not talking about the cha-cha slide (although I’m sure that must have been a warmup of some sort); we’re talking boots, cowboy hats and lots of big belt buckles. If you’re unfamiliar with line dancing, it’s a western version of step dancing or another type of articulate footwork except dressed in your favorite pair of boots.

Even at an early age, Christina was learning how to work with her team of fellow dancers to coordinate moves, step in time and get the crowd moving.

Be Your Own Boss, Climb Your Own Ladder

While she doesn’t don a Stetson to every Brafton meeting, she is still connected with her country roots. From Florida to Colorado, Christina always makes a point to get back in touch with nature.

“I like to spend as much time outdoors as possible, which is why we ended up in Colorado in the first place. In the winter, you’ll usually find me hiking or camping.”

With her 10-month old in tow, she and her husband invested in a campervan to make the outdoors a little more comfortable.

“My husband and I purchased a campervan a year ago and it’s been a total game-changer.”

From national parks to river-side bays, Colorado has just about everything to offer an outdoorsy type like Christina. The Colorado summers are beautiful and its landscape is so vast that the fun doesn’t stop for winter. When the days get shorter, rather than pack in with a bowl of soup and a cable-knit sweater all winter, Christina and her family are kicking up powder on the Colorado mountains!

“In the winter, it’s snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, or just enjoying a hot toddy by a fire.”

In the winter, she can put that campervan to work (with snow tires, of course) and never miss another “pow day” or long ski trip in the mountains.

Working 5 to 9, You’ve Got Passion and a Vision

Before joining Brafton, Christina was a Florida girl. She became a Gator at the University of Florida where she studied public relations with a minor in anthropology.

From the very start, she pursued her vision, passion for the customer experience, getting to know everything about what it means to put the customer first and create an enjoyable journey for every account that passes her desk.

If you’ve ever met someone who knows exactly who they are, what they want and how to go about getting it, you just about already know Christina.

When asked what she did before coming to Brafton, she said, “I’ve pretty much worked at marketing or advertising agencies my entire career.”

She found us through a former Brafton employee and the rest was history!

What does someone who can handle the ups and downs of client work do during the day? Well, Christina’s day is a lot like this:

“Usually full of back-to-back calls — both internal and client-facing,” she says. “At some point in the day, I’ll be in SEMrush, Google Analytics or Google Search Console to see how my clients’ campaigns are performing or to see if the data has anything interesting to tell.”

Christina says she loves Brafton for not only the job but for the experiences in which she gets to take part.

“I really enjoy learning about all different kinds of businesses and industries that I probably would never have been exposed to if I didn’t work at an agency. Plus, my co-workers are crazy talented and I’m always learning something new from them every day.”

She gets to work with clients from all over the world and has the unique opportunity of digging into what makes our customers tick, what their vision is for their businesses and how we can pull a team of “crazy talented” people together to make their dreams a reality.

At the end of the day, though, Christina isn’t just a super Director of Customer Experience but a super mom as well. Through a day of working with clients, meetings and metrics, she closes her computer and straps on her mom-hat.

“By 5, it’s time to pick the kid up from daycare and then it’s mommy-mode until glorious bedtime!”

Whether she’s sliding into a line dance with her fellow Kactus Kickers or signing into a Zoom call with her Braftonite team, Christina leads with her best foot forward and we couldn’t be happier to have her as part of our family.
